Regarding IGP applications, our department requires that the applicant’s current or previous university be either a partner institution of the Institute of Science Tokyo or a university with a ranking equivalent to or higher than that of our partner institutions. Evaluation criteria such as THE Rankings or QS Rankings will be applied.
If your home institution is not a partner university or if there are no partner universities in your country, please submit documentation providing objective evidence that your home institution meets the above requirements.

Additionally, our laboratory requires IGP applicants to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.5-point scale for their first through third undergraduate years or for their entire undergraduate program.
